The Adam Equipment Polaris PAB 125i is a semi-micro balance with a large, bright weight display, LED-lit weighing chamber, and unique Air Diversion Technology to help improve weighing accuracy. As with all Polaris models, the PAB 125i is covered by Adam's 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
What is ADT?
Air Diversion Technology, or ADT, is a new feature from Adam, providing assistance when ultimate accuracy is needed when weighing. Lab balances like the Polaris Semi-Micro Balance are highly sensitive and readings can be affected by something as seemingly innocuous as warm air. For more accurate weighing results that you can be confident in, a unique air diversion channel below the weighing pan diverts more than 90% of warm air away from the weighing pan.
What can the Polaris PAB 125i Semi Micro Balance be used for?
Thanks to the 7.4" LCD display, there is complete weighing clarity with the Polaris. Plus, the balance's many functions are easy to access and use. As well as simple lab weighing, the PAB 125i can be used for checkweighing (the colour-changing backlight in checkweighing mode makes this process even easier), parts counting and check counting.
The PAB125i can also be used for recipe formulation, percentage weighing and density determination. Plus, because the weighing chamber features LED lighting inside, samples on the weighing pan can be seen clearly.
Is the Polaris PAB 125i GLP-compliant?
Yes, Polaris models are GLP-compliant, providing weighing results that are both compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These results can either by printed, by connecting your Polaris to an Adam ATP2 Thermal Printer, or by using one of its many outputs - USB, RJ45 Ethernet, Bluetooth an d RS-232.
